Yuletide 2018 Letter

goldenfallsHi, thank you for matching with me! I’m very excited for whatever you write. :D (Any ideas I give are just ideas and it's entirely fine if you do something different, they're not meant to constrict you.)
Paranatural
It’s a fun webcomic, with good characters. Something wacky and fun would be good, but I also wouldn’t say no to something exploring the character drama, or some interesting worldbuilding. Go wild!
DNW: AUs, romance that’s not canon
Wolf Children
Ame, Yuki, Hana
I’m very interested in the turning point in their transformations, where Yuki stops transforming as much and Ame embraces it, and how that’s related to their characters (motivations/satisfactions, outgoingness vs introvert, frustrations/challenges, etc.). Anything to do with their contrast would interest me.
Some ideas:
* future fic when Ami's in her 20s or 30s comparing where she and Yuki are in there lives
* Hana’s perspective on raising her two different children
DNW: smut, AUs, incest, a focus on Yuki and Souhei’s relationship, abuse, a sense of hopelessness
Sing Street
I love how this movie captures a kid’s experience in adolescence, growing up. I love the uncertainty of that crush he has on Raphina and her reaction/uncertainty in turn, and how there’s all these different parts of his life happening at once and he just has to deal and keep on going. Anything exploring their characters, or that of Connor’s older brother, would be very appreciated! Whatever aspect of the movie that caught you the most is what I want you to focus on, I just want to read your insights and connection with the characters/story!
DNW: non-canon relationships, bad ending (e.g. everyone’s dreams crushed), not really looking for smut

I really love the way the show explores how competitive gaming changed and the people affected by it in different stages of its development. Anything contrasting the experiences of the older fans with what they go through now or with the experiences of the newer fans would be great.
Ye Xiu is my favorite character, but I like pretty much all the characters, so I wouldn’t have a problem with any of them being in the story as well (except for Su Muqiu). I also really like Tang Rou, so a fic from her perspective would be welcome!
Some ideas:
* Snapshots of Ye Xiu and Han Wenqing's rivalry/relationship through the years and how it changed
* Tang Rou hanging out/chatting with other young Glory players and realizing that the experience of playing Glory because you love the challenge of it isn't a motivation for all the new pros
DNW: Su Muqiu, mundane AUs (e.g. no high school/coffeeshop AUs, added stuff like soulmates is fine and so is canon divergence and other AUs along those lines), hanahaki disease
